The currency in Spain is Euro ( € ).

Electricity

220 volts, standard European socket and plug. If Euro plug isn’t used in your country, you’ll need to buy an adapter before travelling.

An easy way to call back home, is by using Skype’s credit service. It costs around 2.8 cents/min to call a landline, no matter where in the world you are. However, you’re in need of Internet service, but most cafes and hotels have free WiFi you can use. To call from your regular cellphone, can be very expensive, depending on which phone company you use.

If you’re a tourist staying less than 90 days in Spain, you won’t need a Visa. However, since the requirements and rules do change often, it’s best to contact your airline operators for the latest update. It’s required that your passport is valid for at least 90 days after your departure from Spain.
